Battle of the Books sign up has begun! Form a team of 2-4 students, read from a list of 20 books, and battle other teams to be declared champion. Stop by the library for more information and to sign up your team. Our first meeting will be Friday, October 27 during lunch & recess in High School room 199.


It’s the great pumpkin T.J. Walker! Time for the fifth annual homeroom pumpkin decorating contest. Here are the rules: You cannot carve the pumpkin, other than that, the sky is the limit! The pumpkins need to be decorated by Friday, October 27. The winning homeroom in each grade will get the traveling trophy and a sweet breakfast treat. We will also have an extended homeroom on Wednesday, October 25. The pumpkins are in the office. Send your Student Council rep. down to the office to pick out your pumpkin.


Library News: There is a hold in the library for Calvin Goettelman and Espen Walker.


Yearbooks! Order yours today! Yearbooks can be ordered either online or in the middle school office. Order forms and information is available in the middle school office. Orders need to be placed by February 2, 2018.


8th Grade Students: Renards cheese orders will be ready for pick up TODAY in the middle school gym. Pick up times are from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.

There are sign-up sheets in the middle school office for bagging at Pick 'n Save. There are still times available for this Saturday, October 21. Sign up today and earn some points towards your DC trip. Lots of other dates are available.

Don't forget Younkers Community Day coupon books. Younkers coupon books are still available in the office from Mrs. Brauer. All money collected and any unsold books should be turned in to the office by the week of November 6.

There are still 8th grade students who have NOT turned in the yellow Parent Commitment Form. Please do so TODAY!


Football season for the middle school is over. All football sports bags and clothes that were left in the boys locker room are now on or under the lost and found table. Any clothes that were laying about are also on the table. No bags should be left in the locker room shower. All PE clothes need to be taken to your personal lockers.


Attention Cross Country runners: Now that the cross country season is over, uniforms should be turned in to the middle school office. Please do so sometime this week.


There is a message in the office Espen Walker, Jullian Cloutier, Alize Ferrer, Aubrey Hall, Ben Luders, Brandon Martinez, and Phoenix Mayo.


The week of October 16 - 20 is a Tuesday/Thursday week.


Lunch for Thursday is turkey & gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, dinner roll, cranberries, and Fresh fruit. Clipper lunch for the week is as follows: Monday - BBQ pork on a bun, Tuesday - cheddar wurst, Wednesday - chicken patty, Thursday - corn dog basket, Friday - chili cheese wrap. Additional lunch entrees and grab and go food choices are also available.
