Sturgeon Bay High School Bulletin for Monday, February 19, 2018

Attention to those interested in taking AP U.S. History next year: There will be an informational meeting in Mr. Mellen’s room on Wednesday, February 21st. The meeting will begin promptly at 3:30. The class is open to mature, hardworking juniors and seniors who want to challenge themselves. You must be at this meeting if you are interested in this opportunity. Enrollment in this class is limited and students will have to go through a selection process to be accepted.

Spring Sports reminder: All athletes wishing to participate in Spring sports need to start working on their paperwork and get a permit to practice. The paperwork process has changed from previous years and may take several days to complete. If you will be going out for a sport for the first time this Spring, please see athletic trainer, Alyssa Lee, to determine if you need a physical and impact test and to learn about the new paperwork process. If you have already participated in a sport this school year, you will still need to get a new permit for your Spring sport and should begin this process with the high school office. If you do not have a permit on the first day of practice you will not be eligible to participate.

College visit: A rep from UW Green Bay will be here Tues. Feb. 20 during the lunch hour. Please feel free to stop down and visit with them. She will be located in the HS front lobby.

Downhill Club Trip The Downhill Club trip to Cascade Mountain has been changed! We will now be going on a night ride to Granite Peak on Saturday March 3. The bus leaves high school parking lot at 1:00 pm. The forms are outside of room 106. Questions, see Mrs. Winkel.
